1. Acceptance
By signing in, registering, or otherwise using the Surat Lace Association member app (“the App”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
The App is for individuals and businesses associated with the lace and textile community in Surat. Accounts may require verification and approval by the Association before full access is granted.
3. Your account
- You must provide accurate registration information, including mobile number and GST where applicable.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must not share OTP codes or allow others to access your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful, harassing, or misleading purposes.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your business.
- Attempt to access data or systems you are not authorised to use.
- Upload or distribute content that infringes others’ rights.
5. Membership and payments
Membership plans, event fees, meeting fees, and payment terms are set by Surat Lace Association. Online payments are collected through the ICICI Bank Payment Gateway, which supports credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, and wallets. All fees are quoted and charged in Indian Rupees (INR). By initiating a payment you authorise us to charge the applicable amount for the selected membership, event, or meeting. Payments processed through the gateway are also subject to ICICI Bank’s applicable terms. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy.
6. Content and directory
Announcements, member directory listings, and other content may be moderated or removed at the Association’s discretion. Directory visibility may depend on your membership status and privacy settings.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, non-payment, or at the Association’s discretion. You may request account deletion by contacting us at the address below.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an “as is” basis. The Association does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Information in the App is for community purposes and is not professional legal, tax, or financial advice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Surat Lace Association is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to the Association in the twelve months before the claim, if any.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Surat, Gujarat, India.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after the “Last updated” date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
