1. Overview
This Cancellation Policy applies to memberships, event registrations, and meeting registrations purchased through the Surat Lace Association member app, with payments processed via the ICICI Bank Payment Gateway. Please read it together with our Refund Policy.
2. Membership cancellation
- You may choose not to renew your membership at any time; membership simply lapses at the end of the paid period.
- A membership that has already commenced generally cannot be cancelled mid-term for a refund. See the Refund Policy for eligible exceptions.
- To stop future renewals or request cancellation, contact us at suratlaceassociations@gmail.com with your registered mobile number.
3. Event and meeting registration cancellation
- Requests to cancel a paid event or meeting registration must be sent to suratlaceassociations@gmail.com before the event/meeting date.
- Whether a cancellation qualifies for a refund is determined by our Refund Policy. In many cases event and meeting fees are non-refundable once registration is confirmed.
- Passes or tickets already issued for a registration become void if the registration is cancelled.
4. Cancellation by the Association
Surat Lace Association may cancel or reschedule an event or meeting due to low participation, unforeseen circumstances, or reasons beyond our control. If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, any fee paid for that event will be refunded in line with our Refund Policy. If rescheduled, your existing registration will normally carry over to the new date.
5. How to request a cancellation
To request a cancellation, email suratlaceassociations@gmail.com with:
- Your registered name and mobile number.
- The membership, event, or meeting concerned.
- The ICICI payment transaction reference / order ID (if a payment was made).
- The reason for cancellation.
We will acknowledge your request and confirm the outcome, including any applicable refund, by email.
